Jimmy Carter Suggests Arsenal to Sell Mesut Ozil

DBasia.news –  The 2018/19 season is not the best season for Mesut Ozil at Arsenal. He was rarely played by Unai Emery and often appeared inconsistent.

Seeing Ozil’s diminishing appearance, has made the former Gunners player, Jimmy Carter, suggest to immediately sell the German player. The 53-year-old man thinks that Emery can release Ozil in the 2019 summer transfer market, it will benefit the club as he won’t have to pay high salaries for him.

In addition, Ozil’s transfer funds can also be used for Arsenal to bring in new players to make a major overhaul of the squad.

“If he is honest, Ozil will know that last season he played far below the level he should have. Therefore, he must leave (from Arsenal) or need to improve his appearance next season, and show that he is the top player in Europe,” said Carter is quoted from the Goal.

“If I am a coach, and receives a good money offer for him, then I will immediately sell hinm,” he concluded.

Until now, the Gunners are reportedly trying to sell the former Real Madrid player. Even so, the club from North London is still having difficulties to find interested clubs.
