Joe Cole Feels Sorry for Mikel Arteta who has Shkodran Mustafi and David Luiz at Arsenal

DBasia.news –  Former Chelsea player, Joe Cole, felt sorry for Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, after London’s 2-2 draw at the continuing Premier League, Wednesday (1/22).

Cole highlighted the Arsenal center-back duo Shkodran Mustafi and David Luiz who made the blunders which made Jorgiho able to score the Blues’ first goal through the white point in the 28th minute.

 “I feel sorry for Arteta. “If you have Luiz and Mustafi, you cannot win the match and this has been going on for quite some time at Arsenal,” Joe Cole said as quoted by BT Sport.

“Arsenal needs a new center back to come and close the gap in the heart of their defense,” he added.

A similar statement was also expressed by former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand. According to Ferdinand, Arsenal have yet to bring in the best central defender for a while since Laurent Koscielny. “When was the last time they brought in a good central defender. I feel sorry for Arteta. He must continue to choose Mustafi. There are no other players to choose from, “said Ferdinand.
