Joel Matip Is Ready to Fight Manchester United
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Liverpool defender, Joel Matip, said he was ready to be played after recovering from an injury when the Reds faces Manchester United at Old Trafford Stadium, Sunday (10/20).
The Cameroon defender had suffered an injury when Liverpool won 1-0 over Sheffield United on September 28. He was sidelined when Liverpool won 4-3 against RB Salzburg in the Champions League and a 2-1 win over Leicester City in the domestic league.
“I have trained and hope to continue to be fit. I am back in training and feel much better. And of course I am ready to play when needed,” Matip said as reported on the club’s official website.
Matip appeared as a starter in six of Liverpool’s eight matches in the domestic league and has scored one goal against Arsenal in August.
