Jose Mourinho Admits Chelsea’s Top Team

DBasia.news –  Ahead of the Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur match, Jose Mourinho admitted his former club was the top team. Mourinho called Chelsea the main candidate in filling the top four of the standings.

The London derby will heat up the English League this weekend. Tottenham will travel to Chelsea’s headquarters at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (2/22/2020) evening Western Indonesian Time.

Tottenham is getting closer to the top four of the English League standings after posting three consecutive wins. Dele Alli et al now ranks fifth with 40 points, only one point behind Chelsea.

Then tonight’s game will also be crucial for the position of Tottenham and Chelsea. However, Mourinho believes Chelsea are more favored than Tottenham.

“Right now, Tottenham, Manchester United, Arsenal, Sheffield United, Wolverhampton, Everton – we are underdogs,” Mourinho said as reported by Sky Sports.

“We have ambitions to go there but we are one, two, three points above Chelsea, so they have an advantage over us all. That is clear. The benefits are not great, but it’s still an advantage.”

“Chelsea is currently the fourth favorite, given Leicester are nine points ahead at the moment,” he said.
