Jose Mourinho asks AS Roma boss for a ‘gift’

DBasia.news – Jose Mourinho has officially started his next adventure at AS Roma. The Special One did not miss the promise of delivering long-term success with Roma.

On the same occasion, Mourinho also signaled to the owner of the Roma Friedkin Group and the club’s director, Tiago Pinto. The 58 year old coach hinted at his desire to bring in some new players.

“I hope the boss and director Tiago have some ‘gifts’ for me. It will be nice. It will be an additional motivation for me,” said Mourinho.

Mourinho also said his plan was to stay in Rome for a long time. “Hopefully that success comes with me, because the contract is three years. Maybe there will be a second contract.”

To deal with Roma, Mourinho will make his experience as capital. According to him, his experience of bringing winning teams in Italy, England and Spain made him ready to return to duty.

“Experiences are like deja vu because you go through so much. Since leaving Italy, I went to Real Madrid which was an amazing experience and achieved the dream of becoming champions in Italy, England and Spain,” stated Mourinho.
