Jose Mourinho Doesn’t Want to Detain Christian Eriksen’s Departure

Eriksen is on the verge of Tottenham’s exit in the January transfer window. With a contract that will expire next summer, the 27-year midfielder did not renew it. Eriksen has defended Tottenham since 2013. Until now, the former Ajax Amsterdam player has scored 69 goals in 300 appearances.
Mourinho, Tottenham’s manager, thinks Eriksen can proudly leave the club. The reason, Eriksen is considered to be the maximum right with The Lilywhites.
“He played very well, very professional, which is what I really expect from him. If the decision is to leave, then I think he can go with his head held high if he has given everything he is trying to do for the team,” Mourinho said. Sky Sports.
