Jurgen Klopp Apparently had Rejected MU

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The Former Liverpool, Robbie Fowler, said Jurgen Klopp had once rejected Manchester United. Klopp had refused as he believed the Red Devils were too focused on pursuing financial gain.

Klopp left Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2014-2015 season. Then, he returned to training with Liverpool in October 2015 after the sacking of Brendan Rodgers.

Before heading to the Reds, Jurgen Klopp reportedly had received an offer from Manchester United. However, the German manager rejected. At that time, Klopp was predicted to replace Sir Alex Ferguson.

“I did an interview with him a few years ago and he said he had refused a few rich clubs after Borussia Dortmund. One of them is definitely Manchester United, maybe the other is Real Madrid. He hates how they only focus on commercial influence,” explained Fowler.

“Klopp said he likes Liverpool as they have a balance between the money needed to reach the top and history and identity. In addition, Liverpool has a solid fan,” said Fowler.
