Jurgen Klopp believes Aston Villa will perform at their best

DBasia.news – Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted he will not contact Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard. Villa will visit Manchester City headquarters, while Liverpool will host Wolves. Villa’s victory certainly means a lot for Liverpool to win the English Premier League title in the final week.
Klopp is optimistic, Villa has their own motivation to steal full points at the Etihad Stadium, without the need to contact Gerrard while “begging” for him to fight desperately for his former club to win.
Prior to City’s opponents, Villa will also still be fighting against a relegation-threatened team, Burnley.
“No, of course not,” Klopp said when asked if he planned to speak to the former Reds captain, Gerrard.
“Stevie is now preparing for the match against Burnley, who are fighting for everything. It was Villa’s last home game,” continued the German.
“They will play that game then gather strength, then fight back for Sunday’s game at the weekend,” Klopp said.
“There is no reason to talk to him. We all know that Villa wants to secure a win because Villa really wants to win. That’s it,” concluded Klopp.
If Liverpool manage to become champions this weekend, then it will be their 20th trophy in the English Premier League.
