DBasia.news – Philippe Coutinho has been a part of Liverpool history and currently plays for Barcelona. His first season there resulted in two different trophies. However, Coutinho is still associated with the transfer rumor and possibly returns to Liverpool.

As we know, the second season of former Inter Milan player wasn’t really good. He is no longer the main choice of Ernesto Valverde and often starts the match from the bench. Moreover, Coutinho just plays when the team have the match at Copa del Rey.

The situation makes him rumored to the exit gate. Lately, Barcelona are mentioned ready to sell him to Manchester United if the club at Old Trafford agree to spend £88M.

But, apparently, United are not alone. Liverpool also have the plan to send him home to Anfield. But, The Reds fans’ expectation to see his comeback won’t happen in the near future. Apparently, Jurgen Klopp denied that idea.

“That is something I don’t want to talk about. I would not say it is a potential transfer or a likely one,” Klopp said cited by Liverpool Echo.

“Nothing to say. Whatever I say would open more stories and there is no story. Phil is at Barcelona and as I know he fits really well and everything is fine,” the former Borussia Dortmund manager added.

Coutinho decided to leave to Barcelona during the 2018 summer transfer market. Previously, he has been the target of Barca, especially after Neymar decided to join Paris Saint-Germain. He was signed with a £142M transfer fee.

The absence of the 26-year-old player won’t make Liverpool decline. Besides they qualify for the Champions League, this season, the club who was established in 1982 also lead the Premier League temporary table.
