DBasia.news – Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, turns out has watched the Manchester Derby between Manchester United and Manchester City. Klopp is not surprised by the end result as Man City is much stronger than United.
Manchester United knocked out 2-0 at home to Manchester City. These results made Sergio Aguero and his mates shift Liverpool at the top of the standings. At present, Man City are one point ahead of the Reds.
Although Manchester United’s duel against Manchester City determined the fate of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp claimed not to be much affected. Moreover, he already knew Man City was still too strong for the polished squad of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“If anyone really thinks that Manchester United can beat Mancester City at the moment, the Citizens are too good for that,” Klopp explained as quoted by Soccerway.
“I watched the game in front of the television and I wasn’t nervous at all. I didn’t say, God, why did he do this? Lingard!”
“I didn’t like watching this match as there is no connection with them. I like to have information, but that’s all. If you still believe, welcome to my club. I just want to play these three matches and see what they get.”
Liverpool will face Huddersfield, Newcastle United and Wolves in the next three matches. Meanwhile, Man City will meet Burnley, Leicester City and Brighton.
“I will be happy to win 97 points. If able to reach it, we have an amazing season and anyone who wants to say anything about us, I don’t care,” Klopp said.
“Getting this number of points will be special. However, there is still a lot of work to be done.”
