Jurgen Klopp’s response after defeating Manchester United

The Reds ended the first half with a 1-0 lead thanks to Gakpo’s goal. At first it wasn’t easy for Liverpool, even though it looked promising, but Gakpo’s goal was an important turning point.

“The second half started, I don’t think the second half could have started better with the two goals we forced in there and from then on the players flew. Then it was tough to play against us and as I said, the performance was important, three points is more important, and results are just results.”
