Just One Match, Tuchel’s Chelsea Rated Boring

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Having just made his debut at Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel was immediately criticized. This came from former The Blues player, Tony Cascarino.

Tuchel currently serves as Chelsea manager after replacing the sacked Frank Lampard. His first match only ended in a draw against Wolverhampton, Thursday (28/1).

Cascarino admitted that he was not happy with the style of play of the London team. According to the 58-year-old man, the Blues’ playing style is very boring and is considered unable to compete in the Premier League.

“About performance? I hate every minute of it!” said Cascarino quoted from Goal.

“Particularly in the first half. I could have gone to make a cup of hot tea when Chelsea started moving.”

“I hated what I saw in the first half, because for me, possession in the Premier League presents a different problem for you when trying to adopt that style of play,” continued Cascarino.

“I could be wrong, but if it was the new Chelsea way of playing, if there were fans at Stamford Bridge, they would boo the team!” he concluded.
