Juventus and AS Roma fight over MLS Wonderkid
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Weston McKennie’s slick appearance succeeded in making Juventus interested in signing other players from the United States. The Bianconeri are now targeting the 19-year-old wonderkid from the US, Bryan Reynolds.
Reynolds has indeed become one of the new stars who shone in the 2020 Major League Soccer (MLS) season. Strengthening FC Dallas, his role as a right-back is almost irreplaceable.
At a young age, Reynolds has made 17 appearances throughout last season. He also contributed four assists.
Reynolds is an aggressive and fast right-back. At first glance, his style of play is similar to Bayern Munich’s, Alphonso Davies.
Reporting from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Reynolds is interested in heading to Juventus. However, the Old Lady will first loan him to Cagliari in the second half of the season if an agreement occurs.
Juventus can’t immediately play Reynolds. Their quota of non-EU players is still full.
But Juventus must move quickly if they want to obtain Reynolds. The Turin club has a rival from AS Roma.
Roma is even one step further as they have made an official offer of 7.5 million euros to obtain Reynolds. It shows that Il Giallorossi is serious to have him.
Apart from Rome, Juventus’ competitors also came from Belgium, namely Club Brugge. But the player seems to be prioritizing the planned move to Allianz Stadium.
