Juventus are a mess in the Champions League
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus were eliminated earlier than the 2022-2023 Champions League. But this condition does not really affect the condition of Massimiliano Allegri, the coach.
The certainty of the elimination of Juventus is known after being defeated 3-4 when they travelled to Benfica’s headquarters at the Estadio da Luz, Wednesday (26/10). This result makes it impossible for the Bianconeri to take second place.
Juventus are now stuck in third place with three points. They are eight points behind Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Benfica with one game remaining.
Ironically, Juventus have not automatically been thrown into the Europa League. The Italian giants can still be overtaken by Maccabi Haifa ase they both pacdk three points.
This minor result is certainly a disgrace for a team as big as Juventus. Especially if later Leonardo Bonucci and his team also fail to secure third place.
Allegri deserves to be appointed as the culprit of this poor result. The demand to resign from the coach has been voiced by Juventus fans long ago.
However, according to the Calciomercato report, Allegri’s position is still safe until at least the 2022 World Cup. Juventus officials will only evaluate during the competition break.
Until then, Juventus will not fire Allegri. Meanwhile, he also has no plans to resign.
Allegri now has five games remaining to bring Juventus back on track before the competition breaks due to the 2022 World Cup. If he doesn’t show signs of improvement, it’s possible that the Old Lady’s officials will change their minds and kick him out.
