Juventus failed to win because they were less fortunate
By db-admin
DBasia.news – A 2-2 draw at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Matchday I of the Champions League disappointed Juventus. Coach Maurizio Sarri thinks they are really unlucky at Atletico Madrid’s home.
2-0 ahead thanks to goals from Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi, Juventus had to settle for a draw. Because of it, Stefan Savic and Hector Herrera scored a goal back for Atletico Madrid.
“I thought we had played well, but had to swallow the bitter pill because we felt the match was in our hands,” Maurizio Sarri said.
Something similar was expressed by Cuadrado. “The result was really unfortunate because I thought we had played well tonight. In my opinion, we are very unlucky to fail to win the match,” said the Colombian.
“We must pay more attention and focus on the set piece. We will work hard again in that regard,” he said.
