Juventus Football Is Simpler Than AC and Inter Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus’ fortunes have slowly improved since the club signed two players in January 2022 (winter transfer market), namely Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria. Especially Vlahovic who gave an immediate effect.
He has played six games in all competitions and Vlahovic (22 years old) has scored four goals, one of which came in his Champions League debut against Villarreal. Juventus’ investment of 81.6 million euros paid off.
Vlahovic’s presence is also what according to Italian football pundit, Paolo Di Canio, Juventus is now playing a simpler football and not as complicated as Inter Milan or AC Milan.
“They’ve found players who solve problems, you win with moments. The only important point is that they have three tournament games and will lose energy,” Di Canio told Sky Sports.
“They don’t want to play games, it’s a simple game to win games especially in the latter part of the season.”
“Juve are waiting in their own defence and with Vlahovic they can score whenever they want. Juve play less problem football than Milan and Inter. They play simple.”
The team played by Massimiliano Allegri was efficient, in accordance with the coach’s game philosophy: focused on defense and efficient in attack.
Mathematically Juventus can still fight for the Scudetto, but they are still participating in the Coppa Italia and Champions League, and still playing inconsistently until the top four is a realistic target.
“Yes and no (Scudetto). Yes because Vlahovic was there, but they conceded three chances in five minutes. They are a team that is not lucky enough not to be in competition,” added Di Canio.
“They have the Coppa Italia semi-final and the second leg of the Champions League. Napoli seems to have the advantage. They have to run (chase the top teams),” he explained.
