Juventus Predicted to Win the Champions League with Ronaldo

DBasia.news –  Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero predicts the Bianconeri will win the Champions League with Cristiano Ronaldo.

“The match against Atletico was a big achievement, but for those who already knew this club (Juventus), they were not surprised anymore. We knew the club, the mentality, the players and everything was possible,” Del Piero said.

“It’s not easy to do it, they have to play the perfect performance and Atletico simply go away. The Juve team is making history and the Champions League title will slowly be won.”

Juventus’ ambition to win this season’s Champions League title will be blocked by Ajax Amsterdam, opponents in the quarter-finals. Uniquely, Del Piero fought Ajax in 1996 – the last year Juve won the Champions League.

“Time is different and football has changed a lot from year to year. Ajax won the Champions League at the time and had so many talents who a few years later played at bigger clubs,” Del Piero added.
