Juventus prefers talented young players over older players
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus have a new plan in the transfer market. Calciomercato reports that the Bianconeri are no longer looking for players with high experience, but rather talented young stars.
The Juventus transfer market this summer was not much of a surprise. Juve only brought Manuel Locatelli, Kaio Jorge, and Moise Kean. Meanwhile, Axel Witsel and Miralem Pjanic were not joined.
Meanwhile, a number of players headed for the exit. Two of them are Cristiano Ronaldo and Merih Demiral.
Apparently, Juve’s transfer movement is not without direction. La Vecchia Signora already understands well about the strategy in the upcoming transfer market. Juve will focus on bringing in talented young players. Massimiliano Allegri gave the green light for the plan.
The first player who became the target of Juventus was Fiorentina striker, Dusan Vlahovic. During last summer, Vlahovic was sold in the market. However, La Viola managed to keep him.
Furthermore, Juventus are also targeting for Sampdoria’s attacking midfielder, Mikkel Damsgaard, who shone in the 2020 European Cup with the Danish national team. Damsgaard’s performances this season will continue to be evaluated by Juve scouts.
However, for this one player, AC Milan and Inter Milan were also reportedly interested. Juve are believed to be taking advantage of their close relationship with Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero to get ahead of their rivals.
With the direction of the transfer market changing, Juventus is trying to repeat the mistakes of the past. Juve does not want players who come to have a high salary burden, but it does not have a significant impact.
