Juventus were flawless at the start of Serie A

DBasia.news – Not wanting to lose to their rival duo in the city of Milan, Juventus started their steps in Serie A 2022-2023 by surprise.

Competing at Juventus Stadium, Massimiliano Allegri’s team crushed Sassuolo 3-0, Tuesday (16/8).

Angel Di Maria (26′) made his debut by making his mark on the scoreboard, followed by a brace by Juve young striker, Dusan Vlahovic (43′, 51′).

Juventus took the lead in the 26th minute thanks to a beautiful goal from debutant, Angel Di Maria. Alex Sandro carried the ball down the left, and his cross found Di Maria in the corner of the box. The former Real Madrid, Manchester United and PSG player immediately volleyed him in, and Andrea Consigli was unable to do much when the ball hit the net.

The referee pointed to the spot for the Old Lady two minutes before halftime. Dropped by Gian Marco Ferrari, Dusan Vlahovic also executed his own penalty which he won. The Serbian striker managed to outwit Consigli to double the home team’s advantage.

Vlahovic doubled his tally in the 51st minute and made the Bianconeri even more unattainable. Starting from a blunder, Sassuolo lost the ball in their own defense, Di Maria received the ball and sent a ball for his fellow attackers. The Serbian striker then defeated Consigli with a perfect finish. Juve scored three goals without reply against Sassuolo to secure three points in the first party of Serie A this season.
