Juventus will not rely on Vlahovic
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri enthusiastically welcomed the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic. But he did not want his team to become dependent on the attacker.
Vlahovic was brought by Juventus from Fiorentina for around €75 million. The 22-year-old player is also believed to have inherited the number 7 jersey from Cristiano Ronaldo.
These two factors make Vlahovic predicted to be Juventus’ new goal machine. Moreover, his productivity is also quite high when strengthening Fiorentina.
Vlahovic is predicted to make his debut when Juventus host Verona in the 2021-2022 Serie A continuation, Monday (7/2) morning WIB. All football lovers’ eyes are on him.
Allegri is aware of the high expectations placed on Vlahovic. He was worried that it would make the player become burdened.
Therefore Allegri did not target the number of goals that Vlahovic had to score. He also asked the Juventus players to carry the burden of breaking into the opponent’s goal together.
“With the arrival of Vlahovic, responsibility remains evenly distributed. Not everything (the matter of scoring goals) lies with Vlahovic,” Allegri said at a press conference ahead of the match against Verona.
“He is 22 years old, scored a lot of goals at Fiorentina, and wants to do well at Juventus. But the responsibility belongs to everyone.”
Allegri also did not want to divulge tactics for the match against Verona. Even though his plan to field the trio of Vlahovic, Paulo Dybala, and Alvaro Morata on the front lines has been leaked to the media.
“The three players ahead scheme can either be implemented or not. The advantage is that we have more quality up front, although we can’t lose the balance of the team either.”
“The biggest risk for the game is that we are facing a team that is doing a good job. In the last four games, Juve have never beaten Verona.”
