DBasia.news – The new Chelsea player, Kai Havertz, admitted that the Premiere League competition is much more difficult than the Bundesliga.

Chelsea won the first week of the Premiere League 2020-2021 3-1 over Brighton & Hove Albion, Tuesday (15/09).

“It was a very difficult match, very difficult because I had a long holiday and I came back and trained for five or six days with the team,” said Havertz as quoted by Standard, Wednesday (16/9).

He was given the trust of coach Frank Lampard for 80 minutes, before being withdrawn. However, the 19-year-old’s performance did not go well. Havertz often makes mistakes and doesn’t seem to be getting on with his teammates’ play.

“The Premiere League is much more difficult than the Bundesliga. I have seen it in training and also seen it in the game. But I am happy to play 80 minutes and hopefully next week I will continue,” continued the former Bayer Leverkusen man.

In the second week of the Premiere League, Frank Lampard’s men will have a difficult match against defending champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge Stadium. Havertz also said that the match against Liverpool was clearly a game that would be very difficult.

“We show respect, but we are also a very great team. It will be a very difficult game.”

Havertz was brought in by Chelsea from Leverkusen for a fantastic £ 70 million. He became part of Lampard’s new squad after previously bringing in five new players, namely Timo Werner, Malang Sarr, Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva.

Practically with the pouring of 200 million pounds that have been spent. Chelsea is considered as one of the teams challenging the Premiere League title in the 2020-2021 season.
