Kai Havertz Talking about Chelsea’s 4-0 Win over Crystal Palace

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Kai Havertz said Chelsea had shown excellent resilience to beat Crystal Palace 4-0 after a difficult first half at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea were frustrated by Roy Hodgson’s side in the first 45 minutes, but they came to life after the break, with summer signing Ben Chilwell scoring on his Premier League debut for the Blues.

Kurt Zouma then took the lead with a header from Chilwell’s cross, and Jorginho ended the game with two penalties in five minutes.

Speaking about the 4-0 win to Chelsea TV, Havertz said, “I thought it was difficult for us in the first half because all the players were trapped in their own half by Crystal Palace.”

“But we said before the game that maybe in the second half when we played well, had a lot of space and I think after 15 minutes we did really well.”

“We had a lot of space, created chances and scored four goals which was very important for us.”

Kai Havertz added, “I think we have to play really fast, pushing the ball hard in our own area and on the other side as well.”

“It’s always difficult to find space for our midfield players, but I think we did really well in the second half.”

The Blues enter the international break with seven points in the Premier League standings after four games. Next they will play against Southampton on October 17th.
