Keita Can’t Wait to Score Goal for Liverpool

DBasia.news – Naby Keita started his football career in France club, FC Istres. Then, he joined FC Salzburg and moved to Germany for RB Leipzig. However, the 23-year-old midfielder admitted that he felt a different challenge in the Premier League with Liverpool FC.

So far Keita has been playing in four matches with The Reds. It was started with the victory against West Ham United FC, Crystal Palace FC, Brighton & Hove Albion FC. Next, he sat on the bench during the visit to Leicester City FC. In three past matches before the international break, Liverpool gained three points.

The 8 jersey number player inherited from the club legend Steven Gerrard admitted despite the good start, he is still adapting to Liverpool. Keita emphasized that he is very enthusiastic to prove himself in the Premier League.

“I think it’s fair to say that the Premier League is a tough league. I’m very motivated to be playing in it – it’s an attractive proposition – but I’ve been told by many people that a lot of overseas players come into the Premier League and they take time to integrate,” Keita said.

He continued, “Depending on the circumstances. So playing in the Premier League can be difficult. Everybody around me has been very supportive towards me so I am certainly giving everything I can to get settled into the team quickly. But I am very motivated to play here, not just for myself and my teammates, but for the club.”

The Guinea national team player admitted that he got many supports from the people around him. It encourages him to give the best to his club.
