Klopp and Tuchel opens up about Rangnick heading to Manchester United

DBasia.news – Manchester United are reportedly one step away from appointing Ralf Rangnick as interim manager. The move received a response from Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel, and Liverpool tactician, Jurgen Klopp.
Manchester United are reportedly working on a few minor details before announcing the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager. After coaching until the end of this season, the 63-year-old man has the opportunity to serve as a consultant for two years.
Rangnick’s arrival to the Premier League has also made Thomas Tuchel and Jurgen Klopp speak up on the matter. Understandably, both of them are said to be Rangnick’s proteges.
Klopp admires Rangnick’s tactics. In 2008, Rangnick, who coached Hoffenheim, defeated Klopp’s team, Borussia Dortmund, 4-1.
Since then, Klopp has started using gegenpressing tactics. In fact, gegenpressing is one of the reasons Liverpool won the Premier League and Champions League.
“Unfortunately, a good coach will come to England, to Manchester United. Rangnick is an experienced coach and has built two great clubs,” Klopp said of Rangnick’s arrival.
“Man United will be organized on the pitch. That’s definitely not good news for other clubs.”
Tuchel was also questioned about the issue of Rangnick’s arrival to Manchester United. Moreover, Tuchel admitted that Rangnick was a person who was instrumental in his career as a coach.
Rangnick taught Tuchel that it was not necessary for the players to follow the opponent’s movements as the enemy can be kept in one zone.
“Before I get carried away and talk too much, let’s respect everyone because he hasn’t been appointed yet,” said the Chelsea coach.
“Let’s respect Rangnick and the club’s decisions. When it’s all over, you can talk about it,” he added.
