However, Klopp insisted he would not keep the Egypt forward if he wanted to leave.

“You can’t force people to stay, but that’s about it. We make changes and bring players in and if a player wants to leave, we can’t hold him. It’s just that I wouldn’t understand why someone would want to do it,” Klopp stated.

Klopp thinks Salah’s comments about the Spanish club are not an indication of his desire to leave Liverpool.

“If you ask any player in the world who doesn’t play for Barcelona or Madrid if he can imagine playing there one day and he says, ‘No, Spanish football is not for me,’ why would he say that?”
