DBasia.news – The scorer of 13 goals from 19 Serie A matches, Krzysztof Piatek joins AC Milan from Genoa. Milan set him as the successor of Gonzalo Higuain who is joining Chelsea.
Guardian reported Genoa agreed to sell Piatek to Milan worth 35 million and bonus in a 5-year contract. The 23-year-old striker from Poland would secure one place in the front line with Patrick Cutrone.
Higuain would leave to London soon for the medical review and completing his transfer. Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso won’t sign him in the squad for the match against Genoa on the 20th-week of Serie A today because Higuain won’t be in a good mentality.
In a relatively short time, Milan would finish Piatek’s transfer, also the Higuain to Chelsea. Meanwhile, The Blues current striker Alvaro Morata would leave to Atletico Madrid.
The transfer saga in the winter transfer market is about the striker. The domino effect happens, placing Higuain as the center of the transfer involving many Europe clubs.
