LaLiga president interferes in Barcelona and Frenkie de Jong’s affairs

DBasia.news – Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, also responded to the situation of Frenkie de Jong and Barcelona, which is in difficulty due to transfer and salary issues.
The Catalans are reportedly looking to sell De Jong, with Manchester United reportedly desperate for the services of the Netherlands international player.
Barca feel burdened by De Jong’s exorbitant salary, but the midfielder doesn’t want to leave Camp Nou as he wants to play in the Champions League.
However, De Jong’s refusal only irritated Barca, they even forced the former Ajax player to leave the club, and if not then he would have to be willing to cut his salary.
“Players cannot be separated from the team or pressured by their own team, it is a mutual agreement, bound by law, reason and ethics,” Tebas said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano’s report.
“From there, Barcelona should know there are rules and responsibilities to do.”
It is understandable that Barca’s economic situation is not ideal, but what has surprised many is that they have continued to purchase players this summer, with Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski having all made their way to Camp Nou.
In fact, recently Barca have reportedly reached an agreement to bring Jules Kunde from Sevilla for a fee of up to 50 million euros.
However, the Blaugrana are in danger of not being able to register their new players for the new season due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.
This makes Barca have to think hard to be able to register their new players, and the options are: selling players or cutting the salaries of existing players.
