Lampard Asks the Players to Be More Violent

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has urged his players to appear more ferocious after losing two points due to a 1-1 draw over hosts Brighton & Hove Albion.

Being ahead since the 10th minute through a goal by Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea were unable to increase their lead until finally the goal of Kepa Arrizabalaga was uprooted by Alireza Jahanbakhsh’s overhead kick at the Amex Stadium.

“It was an equalizing goal, but for us it was a mark of missing two points, as in the first half if we were ferocious enough, the victory should have been in our grip,” Lampard said.

According to Lampard his team actually created many opportunities, but were less able to kill the match when there was an opportunity.

According to him, it shows things that needed to be improved by his team, especially in the series of four matches in the Christmas and New Year period Chelsea recorded two wins, one draw and one defeat.

“There are good and bad sides of us, so this team must remain humble and work hard. There are two big results throughout Christmas, but a lot must be corrected,” concluded Lampard.
