Lampard Overshadowed Dismissal If Not Qualified Champions League

By db-admin –  Craig Burley, a former Chelsea player, believes Frank Lampard is currently overshadowed by dismissal if the 41-year-old manager is unable to bring the Blues to qualify for the Champions League.

Chelsea is currently in the fourth position in the English League standings.  The Blues collected 41 points from 25 matches passed.

Throughout this season, Frank Lampard’s troop performance was unstable.  Sometimes it plays well, sometimes it fights against lower-tier teams.  Fortunately, the same thing happened to rival Chelsea teams.

In the early hours of the morning, Chelsea will host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.  It is very important for Chelsea to win.  Because the Red Devils are one team that is also hunting for tickets to the Champions League.

“There is a lot of pressure on Frank Lampard.  “If this bad United team goes to Stamford Bridge and wins, and Chelsea is under pressure for the Champions League final place, it will add pressure on Lampard,” Burley said at Soccerway.

“If Lampard doesn’t get fifth, from their current position, there will be lots of questions for him.  So this situation is similar to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, another manager in the dressing room who is under a lot of pressure too, “Burley added.
