Lampard’s Reason for not Giving Pulisic a Chance to Play

DBasia.news –  Chelsea’s new star, Christian Pulisic, has yet to be given the opportunity to play as a starter by Frank Lampard.

Christian Pulisic is the only player brought in by Chelsea this season. The club must also spend as much as 58 million pounds to move him from Borussia Dortmund.

However, he has only been played as a starter in the Premier League. Frank Lampard argues that there is no primary place for the United State’s player due to the peak performance of Mason Mount. He did not want to change the standard of team play that was already solid.

“I have a squad that is in good condition. I chose Mason Mount there, who is on fire. I made all of the decisions. “Christian is a very young player, his chance will come, including other players on the bench,” stated Lampard.

“He is our important player and his presence here has been very helpful for Chelsea. I am sure he has a bright future here, “he continued.

Of the six games that Chelsea have played in the Premier League this season, Pulisic has only played four times. His status as a starter was only seen once when the Blues were held to a 2-2 draw by Sheffield United.
