Laurent Koscielny Refuses to Join Arsenal’s Preseason Tour

DBasia.news –  Arsenal’s senior defender, Laurent Koscielny was confirmed to refuse to take part in the Gunners’ pre-season tour.

Koscielny is one of the senior figures in the Arsenal squad. He first joined the North London team in 2010.

The defender is currently believed to be the captain of the Gunners. But last season he was sidelined for some time due to a serious injury to his Achilles muscle.

Koscielny himself is scheduled to fly to the United States with the Arsenal squad. They will start their pre-season tour activities in the land of Uncle Sam.

However, Arsenal confirmed that the French defender canceled the pre-season tour.

“We are very disappointed with Lauren’s attitude. This decision is truly the opposite of the instructions we gave,” said a statement from Arsenal.

“We hope to be able to immediately resolve this issue and we will not provide further responses regarding this situation.”
