DBasia.news – Lazio are reportedly keeping tabs on Arkadiusz Milik ahead of the summer window but they must be ready to compete with Serie A rivals Torino for his services.
28-year-old Polish striker, Arkadiusz Milik has had a great season at Olympique Marseille but could easily return to Serie A this summer.
The player’s contract has a release clause of €12 million which makes it easy to obtain the services of the prolific goalscorer in the current market.
As reported by Tuttosport, Lazio have been a fan of Milik’s serve for some time as a back-up option for Ciro Immobile and they are discussing the possibility of securing his services in the summer, however they must now be ready to compete with Torino who are looking for Andrea Belotti’s replacement.
While alternatives for Il Toro besides the Olympique Marseille player include Cagliari striker, Joao Pedro with a tag of around €7 million and Hellas Verona striker, Giovanni Simeone for more than €20 million.
Meanwhile Milik has scored 20 goals and contributed one assist in 31 appearances across all competitions so far for his club which currently sits in second place in Ligue 1.
Meanwhile, the Biancocelesti have been looking for a competitor for Ciro Immobile for some time and even brought in Vedat Muriqi from Fenerbahce in 2020, but his performance was deemed insufficient to convince coach Maurizio Sarri to make him be loaned to La Liga club, RCD Mallorca until the end of this season.
