DBasia.news – Italy national team played draw with no goal against Portugal in UEFA Nations League match at San Siro, Milan. Both clubs must be content sharing one point despite the intense match.
Throughout the match, both clubs were taking turns in attacking. Italy even created 15 shots and conversely, Portugal threatened Italy 9 times.
Behind the intense match, there was one interesting story, the presence of Italian defender, Leonardo Bonucci at San Siro.
As a matter of fact, San Siro’s public isn’t friendly to Bonucci after his move to Juventus this season, leaving AC Milan.
The public thinks Bonucci wasn’t serious with Rossoneri and asked his agent to return to Turin.
San Siro is Milan’s home. So, it’s reasonable that mostly the fans are supporting Milan. Straightforward, Bonucci was booed before the match began and every time he controlled the ball.
“There will always be imbeciles out there. All that matters is that I have the confidence of my team-mates and the coach,” Bonucci emphasized.
