DBasia.news – Robert Lewandowski is reportedly unhappy with the offer of a new contract from Bayern Munich, sparking Barcelona’s desire to hijack the senior Polish striker.

Lewandowski’s anger with Bayern continues to escalate. Reported by Sport, he is still unable to digest the disappointing contract offer the club made to his agent, Pni Zahavi.

Lewandowski is reportedly unhappy with the duration of the contract and the amount of salary offered on the negotiating table.

Lewandowski has publicly stated that he feels fit to compete at the top level for another three years, until he turns 36.

According to Tribal Football, Zahavi will meet with Bayern in the coming days for further conversations.

Lewandowski has a contract until 2023 and Bayern have offered a one year extension so the striker will stay until 2024. They appear to be studying the possibility of giving him a second year.

With this situation, Azulgrana must wait for Lewandowski’s transfer developments. Even so, they are ready to accommodate the superstar if they will eventually leave Bayern.
