Lewandowski targeted by many clubs, Bayern Munich coach is not surprised

DBasia.news – The new Bayern Munich coach, Julian Nagelsmann, is not surprised that his star player, Robert Lewandowski is being targeted by many big clubs. Nagelsmann’s words seemed to have heaten up rumors of the departure of Lewandowski, who has recently been linked with La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Nagelsmann was appointed as the new coach of Munich this summer. He replaced Hansi Flick who resigned.
The arrival of a new coach is usually followed by a revolution in the composition of the players. It is likely that it will also happen in Munich.
Lewandowski is one of the senior players that Munich still relies on. The 32 year old player is the spearhead of Die Roten’s mainstay.
But his age has made Lewandowski’s future in Munich doubted. After all, he only had two years left on his contract.
Nagelsmann himself admitted that he has held discussions with Lewandowski. But he couldn’t give any guarantees.
“Rumors about Robert Lewandowski have been around for some time. I think it’s normal for someone to score so many goals that almost every club is showing interest,” Nagelsmann told Sky Sports.
“I have spoken and messaged him. I don’t really like the first official action with a player who immediately discusses his contract situation.”
Even though he is no longer young, Lewandowski is still attracting the interest of many big clubs. This summer could be Munich’s best chance to make a big profit from his sale.
Lewandowski is rumored to be one of Manchester City’s targets. The British giant is known to be willing to pay a high price for a player he is targeting.
But releasing Lewandowski could also have a direct impact on the strength of Munich. Moreover, they will also find it difficult to find a comparable replacement.
