Lionel Messi Wants to End His Career at Newells

DBasia.news – Barcelona star Lionel Messi admits he has the desire to end his soccer career in his hometown. However, this is difficult to materialize because his wife and children who are already very comfortable are in Catalan.
“I admit that I never wanted to move from Barcelona. However, I dream of ending my career at Newells. Although I do not know whether it can be realized,” Messi said as quoted by TyC Sports, Wednesday (10/30/2019).
“Playing there (Newells Old Boys) was my dream since I was young. But I have a family, I have three children and currently, they are very happy to live in Barcelona,” added Messi.
Messi said that he could not move to Argentina because of the long-term plans he had made with his wife for his three children.
“The point is I want to give a spectacular future for my three children. “We are thinking more ahead for children than forcing my desire to play in the Argentine League,” Messi said.
Even so, the player nicknamed La Pulga was still trying to convince his family to someday move to his hometown.
“Thiago is growing up now, he has peers here. He was angry because we were a month in Argentina. At the moment I am also convincing them if they want to move from Barcelona,” concluded Lionel Messi.
