Liverpool are predicted to fail to win the Premier League

DBasia.news – Liverpool’s quick pace in a move that paid off was Fabio Carvalho, Darwin Nunez and Calvin Ramsay.
That raises pros and cons regarding Liverpool’s need in additional new energy, especially in midfield. However, Liverpool has their own transfer strategy or policy under the direction of Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool’s squad is also not much different from last season. Some players have left such as Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino and Sadio Mane, but among them Mane’s departure, to Bayern Munich, will be sorely missed.
Despite having Darwin Nunez as a direct replacement, his playing style is different from Mane’s and he still needs to adapt, be it to the Liverpool game or the culture of English football.
For this reason, former England goalkeeper Ben Foster thinks Liverpool will not win the Premier League from 2022 to 2023. The 39-year-old former Watford goalkeeper predicts Liverpool will finish in third place behind Manchester City and Chelsea.
“I just thought the season before they (Liverpool) would give everything and I think they would have struggled last season – they didn’t struggle last season, they were up there all season, alive and kicking until the last game of the season,” Foster said on his YouTube channel. “I think it’s understandable I put them fourth last season, this season I will (predict) be third. I think there will be two better teams than Liverpool this year.”
“Losing Sadio Mane, I think they’re in the right position, a bit of a transition period, I can’t see them trying to get up there and about winning the Premier League , I don’t see it. I still think they’re going to do well,” concluded Foster.
