Liverpool is ready to redeem the release clause in order to recruit Julian Brandt

DBasia.news –  Liverpool were supposed to already have the best front line in Europe along with the existence of the trio: Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane.  All three are getting better this season.

But the desire to increase the depth of their squad in that position continues with the arrival of Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City in the 2018 summer transfer market. The potential for the departure of Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi in the following summer transfer window can make them bring in new players in that position.

As reported by the Daily Mirror, Jurgen Klopp’s team is rumored to have an interest in recruiting Bayer Leverkusen’s wing striker Julian Brandt, who has a 21.5 million euros release clause. The player has also been included in the monitoring of several major European clubs in recent months.

Brandt is an alternative for the Reds to strengthen their front lines if they cannot bring in Timo Werner from RB Leipzig in the 2019 summer transfer market.

Real Madrid and Juventus are claimed to be one of the two clubs that monitor the progress of the German player, although Leverkusen have not been able to perform consistently throughout this season and have made coach changes when Heiko Herrlich was sacked and replaced by Peter Bosz.
