Liverpool Keep the Star Players, Klopp Is Delighted

DBasia.news –  Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could be relieved now because there is no chance that his prominent players will leave in the upcoming transfer market.

A few days ago, Sadio Mane agreed to renew his contract in Liverpool until June 2023. It means Mane will follow the path of two previous star players, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah who also renewed the contract until 2023.

They were rumored to some Europe big clubs. But, they choose to stay with The Reds.

“If a player is in a very good moment in his career and you can extend the contract, it’s more than just a signing, it’s a statement. I’m happy about that,” Klopp said.

“It shows a bit of the change the club made in the last few years. A few years ago it constantly happened that players in a very good moment thought they had to leave the club to make the next step. Now our boys obviously think they can make the next step here. That’s good,” he added.
