DBasia.news – Liverpool are reportedly the latest team to sign Bayern Muchen defender, David Alaba. The Reds believes Alaba will be an important player to improve quality at the back.

David Alaba is a core player for Bayern Munich. The defender is a Die Roten academy graduate. Alaba started getting the chance to appear in the first team in 2011.

However, the story between Alaba and Bayern Munich is in danger of ending. Alaba and Bayern failed to reach an agreement regarding a new contract. In fact, Alaba’s tenure will end this summer.

Not surprisingly, a number of clubs are interested in Alaba’s signature. The 28-year-old defender can be brought in on a free transfer next summer. With his current performance, bringing in Alaba without spending any money is a lucrative deal.

Reportedly, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Inter Milan are a line of clubs that are targeting Alaba. Most recently, Liverpool are also in the ranks.

Liverpool’s interest is based on the wishes of Jurgen Klopp. The manager has been an admirer of Alaba since he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund.

Alaba will also add depth to the squad in the defense sector. That way, Liverpool don’t have to worry when there are players who are injured. Alaba’s ability to be a left-back is also an added value.

Liverpool needs to be careful in submitting offers. Long-term contracts and also a high salary value can be the key to getting David Alaba.
