Luis Diaz will be absent until the end of December

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Luis Diaz suffered an injury after being tackled by Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey in the first half of Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat at the Emirates Stadium.

The Colombian player suffered a knee ligament issue and although he will not require surgery, the former FC Porto player will be out for up to eight weeks, meaning he will not play for Liverpool again until after the World Cup.

At the start of a bad season for Liverpool, Diaz was actually quite shining. He has scored three goals and provided two assists in eight Premier League appearances so far, and bagged the Champions League opener against Napoli.

The bad news doesn’t stop there for Liverpool. Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks, also suffered an injury in the game against Arsenal. They are now waiting for more information on the right-back’s issue.

Liverpool must shift their focus to continuing the Premier League by hosting West Ham United on Thursday (20/10), before traveling to Nottingham Forest headquarters on Saturday (22/10) evening WIB.
