DBasia.news – Spain national team got defeated against Croatia national team in the UEFA Nations League match at Zagreb. Spain got defeated 2-3 by the goal from Andrej Kramaric and two goals from Tin Jedvac, followed by Dani Ceballos and a penalty kick from Sergio Ramos.

By this result, Spain collected six points and lead the standing, followed by England and Croatia with four points. These three teams might qualify for the Group 4 League A phase.

“I am quite happy with this match, the result is undeserved. The group was, as we expected, very difficult with two of the best teams in the world,” Spain national team coach Luis Enrique said quoted by Sky Sports, Friday (16/11).

Enrique also regrets the defeat. The same thing felt by Spain midfielder, Sergio Busquets. He believes his team are better than England or Croatia.

“We deserved to take the lead, but for one reason or another it wasn’t to be and now we need to hope that England and Croatia draw on Sunday because it’s not in our hands,” Busquets added.

“It was a very tough group, with strong teams, who had performed well at the World Cup. We’ve been the best side in the group, but occasional errors have cost us,” he explained.
