Luis Enrique Shared His Difficulties of Training Lionel Messi in Barcelona

“Overall you told him to do something, about how he should put pressure on the opponent, where he must position himself, basically about giving instructions to him,” explained Enrique.

Enrique seems to know well how to optimize Messi’s potential on the field. Especially when Messi was under Enrique, he was in the peak phase of his career.

Enrique’s collaboration with Messi was quite successful. Both are able to present two La Liga trophies, three Copa del Reys, one Spanish Super Cup, one Champions League title, one European Cup, and one Inter Club World Cup including treble winners in 2015.
