Luis Suarez reveals bad memories with Ronald Koeman at Barcelona

DBasia.news – Rumors of Ronald Koeman’s dismissal from the Barcelona coach did not seem to make Luis Suarez sympathize. He has had bad memories with the Dutch tactician.
Rumors of Koeman’s dismissal have been widely circulating in recent days. It could not be separated from Barcelona’s humiliating defeat of Benfica in the Champions League.
Many people think that the match against Atletico Madrid in LaLiga, Sunday (3/10) am, will be the day of Koeman’s judgment. If he loses, it’s almost certain that the rumors of his dismissal would come true.
Suarez has known the difficult position of his former coach at Barcelona. But that did not make him feel sorry.
The Uruguayan player seems to have his own grudge against Koeman. Suarez has not forgotten the way the coach threw him to Atletico, one year ago.
“Koeman told me that if I didn’t sign to Atletico soon, he would rule me out against Villarreal,” Suarez told Sport.
The duel against Villarreal is Barcelona’s first match in LaLiga 2020-2021. The match took place four days after Suarez officially moved to Atletico for a fee of 6 million euros.
Suarez felt hurt by Koeman’s gesture. He had wondered why he was treated like that.
“Sending me out to train separately like I was 15 hurt and disappointed me. I went home in tears,” he added.
“It’s an insult because I always work right. I train without shaking my head even though it all happened.”
Suarez now has the opportunity to take revenge on Koeman. Scoring goals and beating Barcelona could cost his former coach his job.
