Luka Jovic

DBasia.news – JThe Bundesliga this season is full of surprises. Moreover, there are many young players shining brightly and impressive.

Let’s say Jadon Sancho, the young British player who could steal the attention with Borussia Dortmund. Now, there is another young player, Luka Jovic.

He’s just 20 and becomes Germany and European media-sweetheart while supporting Eintracht Frankfurt to win 7-1 against Fortuna Dusseldorf on the 8th-week of Bundesliga. Not only supporting, but Jovic also scored 5 goals.

The last time a player scores 5 goals was on September 2015, he was Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munchen striker. It’s not surprising for the public because Lewandowski was known as Europe’s top striker and famous for his reputation.

Regardless of the weak opponents against Frankfurt, Jovic’s 5 goals were great because it isn’t easy to be executed by a professional football player. Not only scoring 5 goals, but even 3 goals or 1 goal is also difficult in European top leagues.

Gerd Muller

Jovic’s 5 goals brought him as the temporary top-scorer of Bundesliga with 7 goals, equals to Paco Alcacer.

Furthermore, Jovic also broke the goal-per-minute ratio record of Lewandowski (every 112 minutes) and Germany legend Gerd Muller (every 115 minutes). Jovic scored a goal every 82 minutes.

“It’s remarkable that Luka Jovic managed to score five goals, and he’s not even 21. He’s penned his name into the history books, alongside players like Robert Lewandowski. It’s sensational. Luka is a complete player,” Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter said.

The record becomes more special because Jovic has been scoring 15 goals so far from 28 matches with Frankfurt in Bundesliga.

In his young age, Jovic is equal to Lewandowski, Muller, Jupp Heynckes, and Jurgen Klinsmann in terms of a player who could score 5 goals in a match.
