Mahmoud Dahoud Becomes the Target of Two Premier League Clubs

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud is reportedly the target of two Premier League clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mail, City and Chelsea are interested in signing Dahoud, while Tottenham and Everton are closely monitoring the situation of the 25 year old player who has 12 months less on his contract.

In recent weeks Dahoud’s performance has improved greatly, and he is currently at his best during his career at BVB.

Having rarely played in the first half of the season, Dahoud has now become a regular in the yellow and black squad since he starred in Dortmund’s 3-2 win over Sevilla last month.

Dahoud’s future at Dortmund appeared bleak in January following a verbal clash with coach Edin Terzic.

Olympique Marseille, AS Monaco and US Sassuolo were reportedly interested in recruiting Dahoud in January, but at that time Dortmund officials did not want to sell him. And Dahoud’s impressive performance in recent matches seems to have caught the attention of several Premier League clubs.

It is still unknown what Dortmund plans for Dahoud. If he continues to impress, it is likely that the club will offer him a new contract.

Dahoud has been praised by sporting director Michael Zorc, who last month praised his recent form.

This season Mahmoud Dahoud has appeared in a total of 19 matches for Dortmund, recording 2 goals, including their 3-2 win over Sevilla in the last 16 of the Champions League.
