Lukaku Wants to Stay at Inter Milan

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Romelu Lukaku says he wants to stay at Inter Milan permanently and is reluctant to return to Chelsea.

The Belgian striker is currently on loan at Inter Milan after deciding to return to Chelsea in 2021. However, he has struggled to find his best form with the Blues.

He then decided to return to Inter in the summer of 2022 as a loan player.

“I hope to stay. For me, Inter is everything. Now I have to do everything that is necessary, with the team for Inter to win. Then we will see,” said Lukaku.

“Inter fans are special to me, they are the best fans I have ever met. Even when the team has problems, they always help us.”

Lukaku previously scored 64 goals in his two seasons at Inter, helping them to the Serie A title in 2021 before Chelsea brought him back to Stamford Bridge.

At Chelsea, initially Lukaku was often played by the then coach, Thomas Tuchel. However, over time he was often backed up.

Injuries have also reduced his playing time at Chelsea. Lukaku then hinted that his relationship with Tuchel deteriorated and that was the thing that made him return to Inter Milan.
