Made Mistakes When Playing Against Tottenham, Man United Legend Upset with David De Gea

DBasia.news – Manchester United legend Roy Keane claimed he could not forgive the mistakes made by The Red Devils goalkeeper David De Gea when playing against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday (6/20). Very upset, Keane wanted to give a punch to the Spanish goalkeeper.
Manchester United came to Tottenham’s headquarters with a determination to win. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team showed this on the field.
Bruno Fernandes et al. dominated with possession. A number of golden opportunities were also successfully created.
Ironically, Manchester United were overtaken first through Steven Bergwijn’s solo run. He ended with a hard kick that De Gea could not drive away.
This is what made Roy Keane furious. He considered De Gea’s reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, should be able to easily block those opportunities.
Admittedly, the kick that was released by Bergwijn was quite hard. But the direction is still within De Gea’s reach.
Instead of thwarting the opportunity, De Gea actually anticipated it. The edge isn’t perfect so the ball stays rolling into the goal.
“I am fed up with this goalkeeper. I (if I am still playing) will fight with him at halftime and hit him. He cannot get away with it,” Keane said while commenting on this match when he became a pandit on Sky Sports.
“It’s a standard rescue for a national team goalkeeper.”
Despite making a fatal mistake, De Gea had to make up for it with some brilliant rescues like when he dismissed Son Heung-min’s header. But it seems invisible.
Luckily Manchester United did not defeat the match. Bruno Fernandes equalized through the penalty spot.
In the last two seasons, De Gea has indeed begun to be making blunders. Most of the mistakes he made in anticipating the opponent’s kick.
