DBasia.news – Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti admits that he is enjoying his inaugural season in his second spell with Los Blancos.
Most recently, Madrid managed to beat Levante 6-0 in the 36th jornada of LaLiga at the Santiago Bernabeu, Friday (13/5).
Half a dozen goals for the hosts were scored by Ferland Mendy (13′), Karim Benzema (19′), Rodrygo (34′) and Vinicius Junior’s hat-trick (45′, 68′, 83′).
Ancelotti has ensured Madrid to win the league since the end of April. The 62-year-old Allenatore has completed the domestic title since managing El Real in the 2013–2015 period.
With the achievement of the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup plus the Champions League at that time, he only became the runner-up of the FIFA World Coach of the Year under Joaching Low.
“It’s challenging to answer this. I don’t like to judge myself. It’s up to other people to judge me,” said Ancelotti in his post-match press conference.
“There are other great coaches in Europe.”
“I’m enjoying a happy moment in my career and I hope I can stay for a while.”
“We have big targets, clear and challenging, but we will give everything we have,” he added.
Now, Ancelotti is targeting the double as he prepares his side for the Champions League final against Liverpool at the Stade de France on May 29.
