Man United Meets Liverpool, De Gea Injured

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  A draw was obtained between Spain and Sweden in the 2020 Euro qualification which had to be accepted to expensively. Bad news had fallen to Manchester United, its flagship goalkeeper, David De Gea had to be absent to replace Liverpool due to an injury.

David De Gea played since the first minute. But he had to leave the game faster. The Manchester United goalkeeper had to be pulled out in the 60th minute and was replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Madrid-born goalkeeper had suffered a muscle injury. This situation raises doubts when Manchester United appeared against Liverpool in the Premier League last weekend.

With a four days gap, theres a small chance for David De Gea to play against Liverpool. Moreover, the muscle injury this time is a recurring damage that he has suffered before.

Spanish coach, Robert Moreno, even agreed that his goalkeeper has had a problem during the first half. But the player refused to be replaced early in the second half.

“He felt pain in his muscles and had to receive treatment in the first round. But he wants to keep playing until he was unable to continue anymore. We are still waiting for his condition and can not solve anything, “Moreno said as reported by the Mirror on Wednesday (10/16/2019).

The point is, De Gea’s muscular injury can last for at least two weeks or up to a month. However, it is not impossible that he could recover faster, so far there has been no information whatsoever from the La Furia Roja medical team.

On the other hand, if Manchester United is threatened to lose the goalkeeper, Liverpool actually has the chance to play ther best goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, who has recovered from a long injury.
